CARE

How to take care of your high-value art?

*Hang your breathtaking art pieces on your wall in your room or space with the right temperature. The ideal range is between 50 to 90 degrees. If it’s too hot, the paint is forced to dry quickly, which can lead to cracking or can cause a film to form on the painted surface. If it is too cold, on the other hand, the paint will struggle to bond to the surface, and often remain a gunky mess.

A. Yes, dusting paintings regularly using a dry, soft and fine brush is recommended. It’s good to use the softest brush you have for the painting itself (*use the softest makeup brush that you use for your safe, for the frames any regular soft ones will do)

A. The sun can damage artwork. So keep your favourite magnificent pieces in a nice cool temperature room and away from humid areas—bathrooms or next to the stove in kitchen area.

A. Here are the best steps to store your art:
You can wrap up the artwork in brown paper then in bubble wrap.
Place frame corners on all four corners then the wrapped-up artwork in a solid box.
For unframed works on paper, use plastic sleeves with acid-free cardboard to make sure the paper doesn’t bend with time.

*It’s best though to keep the artwork hanging on your walls to prevent it from other damages.

A. Store, wrap and protect your art as mentioned above and double the box by adding cardboard on each side of the painting. Please make sure that the inside of the box where the artwork is should be filled in with bubble wrap or paper or styrofoam to avoid the piece’s moving within the box during transportation.
